Terms of Service

Services

SoFlo WebWorks provides web design, development, SEO, server hosting, security, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are defined in individual project proposals or contracts.

Payment Terms

Project payments are typically structured as 50% upfront and 50% upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hosting and ongoing services are billed monthly. Late payments may result in service suspension after 15 days past due.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own all custom code, content, and designs created specifically for your project. We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party tools, frameworks, and open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

Hosting & Uptime

For managed hosting clients, we target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, DDoS attacks, or force majeure events, though we will work to restore service as quickly as possible.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or data.

Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide all project files, credentials, and a transition plan. We do not hold your site or data hostage.
